Sunday School classes are offered on Sunday mornings from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in our education wing. We utilize age-specific, Bible-based curriculum in each of the classes and our teachers all share a love for the Lord and a desire to share that love with children. Classes are conducted for six age groups:
PreK – Kindergarten 1st – 2nd grade 3rd – 4th grade 5th – 6th grade 7th – 8th grade Senior High
The school year, which runs from September until June, includes some special events, including the annual Resurrection Egg Hunt and our Prayer Labyrinth, which is utilized by youth and adults to deepen their Lenten experience.

Each year in late July, Christ United Methodist Church conducts a week-long Vacation Bible School. The theme of the school changes annually, but enthusiasm for the event never wavers. The school attracts more than 100 children ages 4 to 12. Typically, more than half of them come from families that are not part of our congregation.
We receive endless praise and gratitude from parents who tell us how much their children enjoy the program. This is not simply about the engaging curriculum or the joyful music, it is a direct reflection of God working through the staff and church members who serve as school volunteers. Many children from our community return year after year, bringing with them friends from their school or neighborhood. God’s love is shown in big and little ways, and this ministry has a long-lasting impact.
